The Columbia Institute for Ideas and Imagination is accepting applications for its 2027–2028 fellowship cohort in Paris, France. The residential fellowship brings together up to 15 creative artists, writers, scholars, and Columbia faculty to live and work in an immersive intellectual community at Reid Hall. Unaffiliated global poets, filmmakers, visual artists, and composers are invited to submit a detailed 1,500-word project description and creative work samples for evaluation.

The fellowship welcomes international creative professionals unaffiliated with the university. According to the Official Columbia Application Portal, eligible creatives include "applicants within the creative arts (including visual and sound arts/film/composing/writing) who are not affiliated with Columbia University." Applicants from the creative arts category must not be residing permanently in the United States.
