Founded by Hollywood television writer Mike Gauyo (Insecure, Ginny & Georgia), the Black Boy Writes & Black Girl Writes Mentorship Initiative is an international fellowship designed to eliminate barriers to entry for pre-WGA Black screenwriters. The year-long program features monthly writer room workshops, masterclasses, and executive roundtables. At graduation, participants get their scripts read by major literary agents and managers at Culture Creative and M88 for representation consideration.
